1. Magazines relating to bodybuilding exercises are boiled down steroid programs. They tell you to "train fast " but make "fast training" impossible by advising one to two dozen sets per body area. You can only gain muscle with these kind of workouts if you're using supplements to aid in your recovery.

2. Supplements are only necessary if you have hit a 9 out of 10 marker in your regimen, caloric intake and manner of living. If you start supplements at that point, you will not see stunning results - they will only contribute an average of 1.5% in additional muscle and overall strength.

3. Your body can only create an average of 1.5% of raw muscle every 30 days which leads to additional areas of water and glycogen. Consequently, you can only add an average of 3.5 lbs. of pure muscle on a monthly basis. Physically you can not (without using supplements) add more than an average of 18 lbs. pounds of solid muscle per year. I know this is not what you have have been told, but it's the truth.

4. Most thin guys and gals are using tips from those in the bodybuilding profession, periodicals and internet sales pages that are promoted by people with super athletic bodies. Should you be listening to people that are not built like you, or from folks that do not have the predisposition for a thin body? I'll also bet their metabollic rate is way different than yours as well. Would you take financial advice from a failed or corrupt investor? Would you take financial advice from the government? Absolutely Not! So why are you taking bodybuilding exercises advice from people with athletic bodies and who are probably using steroids?
